SUNBURST VISUAL is the brand of an independent creative visual studio operated by 디센코솔루션, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, which is responsible for the personal information described here. This notice covers this website and inquiries sent to the studio by email. The website does not take orders or payments.

Website visits. The website is a static portfolio. Its code does not set cookies, use browser storage, run analytics or advertising trackers, or load external scripts, embedded third-party content or externally hosted fonts. There are no accounts or forms, and the website installs no cookies or other means of collecting information automatically.

The website is served through Cloudflare Pages. To deliver any page, Cloudflare processes the visitor’s IP address, browser and device details, the page requested and the time of the request. The studio does not export or keep visit logs. Cloudflare’s dashboard can show the owner aggregated traffic figures and, for requests that Cloudflare blocks or challenges as a security threat, details such as their IP address.

Email inquiries. “Discuss a project” opens your own email application with the studio address. Sending a message is your choice; the website does not submit a form or send anything automatically. An inquiry may include your email address, a name you provide, the subject, the message, any attachments you choose to send, and the technical headers that email systems add. Please share only what is relevant to your inquiry.

Inquiry information is used to reply to inquiries, discuss potential creative services and manage project-related correspondence. Network information is processed by Cloudflare to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

Correspondence and attachments from general inquiries are kept only while they are needed to handle the inquiry and related follow-up, and for no longer than six months after the last meaningful contact. Information that is no longer needed is deleted sooner. The owner reviews upcoming deletions every month, and the review schedule never extends this maximum.

Deletion means removing the messages and attachments from the mailbox, including its trash, so that they cannot be restored from the mailbox. Google then removes deleted data from its systems under its published deletion process, which generally takes about two months; encrypted backups can keep it for up to six months.

The website keeps no visitor data. Cloudflare keeps request data as described in its privacy policy, and a routing record of each email (sender, recipient, subject, time and delivery status) for 31 days.

If an inquiry leads to a paid engagement, the records that tax law requires (the agreement, invoices and payment records, with the names and contact details they contain) are kept separately from general inquiries for five years after the statutory tax filing deadline, or seven years for cross-border transactions, under Article 85-3 of the Framework Act on National Taxes.

Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the website (Cloudflare Pages) and forwards messages sent to contact@sunburstvisual.com (Cloudflare Email Routing). Cloudflare states that Email Routing does not store or access the content of emails.

Google LLC provides the Gmail inbox in which inquiries are received and kept. The studio is run by one person; only the owner accesses this inbox and there are no shared users. The private destination address is not published on this website.

Both providers process personal information outside the Republic of Korea. This is necessary to deliver the website and to receive and answer the inquiries you send, and the details below are published under Article 28-8(1)(3) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

When and how: when a message is forwarded to the inbox, over the network, and stored in Gmail. Purpose and retention: keeping the studio’s mailbox, until the owner deletes the message under the retention rules above, followed by Google’s deletion process.

How to refuse, and the effect: you can refuse the transfer of inquiry information by not sending an email. The studio has no other inquiry channel, so it cannot receive your inquiry without this transfer. Every visit to the website is handled by Cloudflare’s network; if you do not agree to that, please do not use the website.

You can ask to see the personal information the studio holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to stop its processing, and you can withdraw consent where processing relies on it. A legal representative or a person you authorise can make these requests for you. Send requests to the privacy officer below and identify the relevant correspondence; please do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Requests are handled as required by the Personal Information Protection Act.

The website runs no scripts, has no forms or database, stores no visitor information and is served over HTTPS. Inquiries are kept only in the owner’s mailbox, which only the owner can access and which is protected by two-step verification, and are deleted on the schedule above. The Cloudflare account that manages the website and email forwarding is also protected by two-step verification.

No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents in a first inquiry.
